I drove 300 miles to Neyland Marina to collect my Day Angler. On arrival I was greeted with a warm welcome by Mike. What an absolute gentleman. His knowledge and assistance was outstanding. He arranged a lift onto the new trailer and helped me adjust it to the boat. Even weighing the nose weight of the trailer to check it was safe. Explained the boat in great detail and all the paper work was seamless. Even assisted with insurance before I left. Rare to find someone so friendly and helpful these days. Mike from Boatshed Wales could not have been more helpful and I will definitely be using his services again. From the day our Beneteau First 21.7S was put on the Boatshed website, to the day that the sale monies arrived in my bank account, totalled just 24 days! This was entirely due to the amazing dedication of Corinne, the local representative. She produced an excellent video tour + over 50 photos - all really professional. And we should not forget, this was all done whilst coping with a family bereavement, plus a funeral in the middle of the process. My boat was advertised through Boatshed Hamble in June 2023. Initial interest was shown but most prospective buyers had boats of their own for sale so nothing came of it. July and August are known as 'dead months' so it was not surprising that there was little interest. Once September came and the Southampton Boat Show was on then interest picked up and the sale went through in just over 2 weeks including the survey.
