Board the boat from the swim platform with its safety rails (staples) and propane locker, and then through the transom door. The cockpit is remarkably large and open, with a centerline bench seat aft (which folds forward to access the lazarette) and features a large cockpit table. Clever port and starboard bench seats fold open from the gunwales. There is a convenient cockpit refrigerator/freezer as well. This boat has the optional cockpit helm station (with wheel and engine controls -- and a sink) with the addition of the Volvo-Penta D4 engine low speed module. The engine room hatch opens with electric lifters and affords good access to the Volvo-Penta D4 and the optional Onan 5 KW generator which is installed. Cockpit storage lockers (2) add substantial storage space. The cockpit features the full hardtop option which greatly increases top deck storage space and houses the optional solar panel.

The main cabin is entered through a Diamond Seaglaze door with full-length window. The guest berth is to port, and has a privacy door (which is great because the private cabin also has a day head!). This compartment includes two opening ports for ventilation and a heating duct from the Webasto diesel furnace. Headroom in the main cabin is 6' 4".

The galley has everything you might want including a wine/beverage cooler. There are two deep stainless steel sinks set in a granite counter top.

The salon table is comfortable and large and attractively lit. The table is hinged with integrated beverage holders and drops to convert into a double berth. The forward seat also converts to a forward-facing companion seat while underway with a hinged chart table. Upholstery is a high quality stitched simulated leather material.

The helm station is raised to achieve a pilothouse effect in a sedan design, and has a sliding side door to the side deck and forward. A drop-down screen for TV/video is on centerline.

The master suite has an island berth, its own video screen (plus controls for the Fusion entertainment system), attractive night lighting including LED rope lighting beneath the berth, and an overhead hatch for ventilation. There is ample storage in a hanging locker, and a door opens to conveniently access the wiring for the helm. Headroom in the master suite is 6' 3".

The ensuite head/shower is attractively designed with an elevated blue glass sink basin and granite counter top. The stall shower features a Plexiglas door and ample headroom. Both heads feature electric toilets.

The foredeck has another forward-facing bench seat (with cushions stowed separately) that opens from the trunk cabin. Cup holders are located on both sides (they've thought of everything!).

Broker's Comments

Our popular Ranger Tugs 31 Sedan is fully equipped with a host of smart standard features, the Northwest Edition options package, and some key additional equipment that makes for a great value in a like-new boat.

Onan 5KW generator;
Cockpit helm and engine controls;
Volvo-Penta D4 low speed module for fishing;
Kyocera 145 watt solar panel;
Garmin electronics including AIS 300 option;
Bow and stern thrusters with wireless remote;
Webasto diesel forced air furnace.

The Volvo-Penta D4 300 HP diesel was just serviced in December 2018 and has only 187 hours of use. The optional Onan 5KW generator aboard has less than 5 hours of use. The generator provides for self-sufficient cruising to remote anchorages and would permit a watermaker to be installed for extended cruising. This boat is ideally set up for voyaging throughout Puget Sound, the rugged British Columbia coast, or northward to Alaska.

The dinghy shown in the photos is a 2017 Ranger Tug RT-290 3D-V; 9 ft, model and will be retained by the owner and not included in the sale.

It's understandable why these Ranger Tugs are so popular and hard to come by as used boats. This one is clean, upgraded, and ready for cruising today. Please reach out now if you are interested in seeing this boat before it sells.
