Sundowner Tugs are sturdily-built Trawlers well suited to the Pacific Northwest. The 36' has the classic tug profile and operates very economically burning only 2 gallons per hour at cruise. With an estimated range of 1000 nautical miles, this Tug is ready to explore coves and passages throughout the Salish Sea.

Enter the master stateroom through the companionway in the cockpit. The master suite consists of a double berth to port, plus a built in desk, two hanging lockers, bookshelf and nightstand.
Up three steps from the master stateroom is the main cabin area. To the starboard is a huge U-shaped dinette with high-low table. To port is a linear galley consisting of fridge/freezer combo, propane stove/oven, dual sink, plus ample drawer storage and cabinets. Forward of the U-shaped dinette is the lower helm with forward facing seating for a captain and two passengers. On a warm day, the pilot house doors on either side can be opened to let a cooling breeze in.
Down from the lower helm is the forward stateroom with a large V-berth, storage areas below, hanging locker, and access to the chain/rode in the anchor locker. A toaster and microwave are in the forward stateroom to allow for more counter space in the galley.
The head is adjacent to the forward stateroom. It consists of a newly installed vacuflush head and a shower stall with seat. The holding system is a Raritan LectraSan Hold-n-Treat Type I MSD -- which reduces trips to the pump out station while respecting the environment.
The interior is heated with a Webasto Forced Air Diesel Heating System.

Comentario del broker
This lovely 36 Sundowner Tug is the maritime version of Don Quixote's horse Rocinante, having faithfully carried her author-owner on adventures throughout Washington and British Columbia. She served as the platform for many explorations and accompanying articles in a well-known Northwest boating magazine. The owner is a veteran boater, and in his role as a Northwest boating sage is fairly obligated to keep his boat in top condition -- his attentive maintenance is evident throughout the boat. The boat is kept in covered moorage which additionally attributes to the good condition of the exterior brightwork and teak decks. In 2006 the vessel received a complete exterior repaint, as well as new teak swimstep, new headliner, and new teak veneers throughout much of the interior.
The layout is very useful for extended cruises with 2-4 adults and it is capable of entertaining many more while dockside. With diesel heat and a comfortable pilothouse, this Sundowner is ideal for all-season cruising in the PNW. It boasts a nice equipment list including a newer Raymarine Radar/Chartplotter/GPS, a portable generator, two shore tenders and more. This turnkey 36 Sundowner is ready for you to take the helm, set a course, and make new stories of your own.
