An ongoing commercial relationship with Boatshed.com that is working with marinas and boayards across a range of international locations.
This facility offers a range of revenue and commercial opportunities for marina and boat yards but does not rely on a traditional office rental/tenancy arangements that many yachtbrokers have favoured in the past.
Boatshed is a modern yacht brokerage company that is both mobile and technology focused, we do not need tradional office based facilities as our Web based platform and processes are the key to our success.
Since 1999 we have sold over 21,000 boats and we remain the industry leader in internet based yacht brokerage and boat sales.
Boatshed do however fully acknowledge that marinas and yards need to receive revenue from service providers who operate on site at their facility.
Boatshed offer a range of commercial arrangements that offer rental and reward arrangements to marina/yard operators.
The following items indicate the range of commercial options available.
These finiancial and commercial arrangements are negotiated directly with marina and yard operators on an individual basis by a member of the Boatshed team on a confidential basis.
Here are some of the options boatshed offer to yard and marina operators :
1/ Up to a 20% share of the brokerage boat sales commission.
2/ 1% of boat value yard commission paid when a boat is sold.
3/ A Ground rental fee paid to the marina or yard.
4/ A visiting fee when a broker accesses the facility.
5/ Tort boat services and sales undertaken at discounted rate or FOC.
6/ Preferred Partner marketing to help sell marina berthing.
7/ Boat for sale parking excess space optimisation sheme.
8/ Sponsorship for member/berth holders.
9/ Blogs, links, database bulk mail, social media and publicity.
10/ System reporting on boats for sale, sales, commission and activity.
Here are some of the concessions our yard and marina partners offer Boatshed in return:
1/ Preferred or authorised on site broker status.
2/ Open access to the marina, fobs and codes.
3/ Parking for Boatshed and customer vehicles.
4/ For sale signage on boats.
5/ Signage on the marina.
6/ Adverting in the marina guide.
7/ Preferred rates on lifting and washing, storage.
